Antalpha Platform Holding Company (NASDAQ: ANTA) announced it will commit 6,052 units of XAUâ‚® tokenized gold to the XAUE protocol, valued at approximately $29 million based on gold prices as of April 23.
The XAUE protocol allows holders of tokenized gold to generate yield while maintaining exposure to the underlying gold asset. The Singapore-based digital asset financing platform made the announcement on April 24.
Aurelion (NASDAQ: AURE), a subsidiary of Antalpha described as a NASDAQ-listed XAUâ‚® treasury company, is also participating in the protocol separately.
"Gold remains a foundational asset in institutional portfolios, yet its inability to generate yield has long constrained its role in active capital management," said Paul Liang, Chief Financial Officer of Antalpha. "Our participation in XAUE reflects a deliberate allocation decision, one that seeks additional liquidity via yield on gold and without compromising the custody standards and risk controls that institutional investors require."
The commitment value is based on the London Bullion Market Association PM Fix price of $4,719.15 per troy ounce as of April 23, 2026.
Antalpha provides financing, technology, and risk management solutions to institutions in the digital asset industry. The company offers Bitcoin supply chain and margin loans through its Antalpha Prime technology platform.
