June 8, 2026 7:00 AM EDT

Anfield Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: AEC) completed drilling of eight additional monitoring wells at its Shootaring Canyon Uranium Mill in Utah as part of the facility's license renewal process, according to a company statement.

The company has begun removing existing leach tanks from the mill's leach building to prepare for refurbishment work. Anfield is working with PSE Engineering on detailed engineering designs for the facility, which the company plans to have operational in 2027.

The uranium milling company expects to complete the license renewal process by the end of 2026. Anfield is constructing a temporary worker housing facility on company-owned land near the mill that will accommodate up to 40 workers when completed later this year.

The Shootaring Canyon facility is one of three licensed conventional uranium mills in the United States. Anfield's refurbishment plans target a processing capacity of 1,000 tons per day for uranium and vanadium production.

Anfield also entered into agreements for investor relations and market-making services. The company will pay CorProminence LLC $25,000 monthly for public relations services, with an additional $15,000 monthly for investor relations services starting after the fourth month. Generation IACP Inc. will receive C$8,500 monthly for market-making services under a six-month agreement.

The company is listed on NASDAQ, TSX Venture Exchange, and Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol AEC.
