AmpliTech Group receives $2.5 million in follow-on orders from carrier

AmpliTech Group Inc. (NASDAQ: AMPG) announced it received follow-on purchase orders exceeding $2.5 million from a Tier-1 North American mobile network operator, according to a company statement.

The additional orders bring the cumulative total received to approximately $18 million against a previously announced $40 million Letter of Intent. The company has shipped more than 2,000 of its ORAN 5G radios to this customer to date.

"Each new order against our existing LOI underscores the customer's confidence in the performance and reliability of our ORAN 5G technology," said Fawad Maqbool, CEO/CTO of AmpliTech Group.

The Hauppauge, New York-based company designs and manufactures signal-processing components for satellite, public and private 5G, and other communications networks. AmpliTech also provides complete Private 5G end-to-end solutions that deliver connectivity from towers to homes and businesses.

The company's Private 5G networks incorporate AI-based IoT products including smart cameras, traffic lights, sensors, and industrial automation systems. These systems connect to existing commercial networks to extend 5G capabilities to users.

AmpliTech operates through five divisions: AmpliTech Inc., Specialty Microwave, Spectrum Semiconductors Materials, AmpliTech Group Microwave Design Center, and AmpliTech Group True G Speed Services. The company serves markets including satellite communications, telecommunications, space exploration, defense, and quantum computing.
