Amphenol adds Linde CEO Sanjiv Lamba to board of directors

Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH) appointed Sanjiv Lamba to its board of directors, expanding the board to nine members, the company announced.



Lamba serves as Chief Executive Officer of Linde plc (NASDAQ: LIN), a global industrial gases and engineering company. He was promoted to CEO in 2022 and is scheduled to become Chairman of Linde's board on January 31, 2026.



Lamba brings nearly 30 years of global leadership experience to Amphenol's board. At Linde, he previously served as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing regional operations across the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe, the Middle East and Africa, along with Linde Engineering, Lincare and other global functions. He also led Linde's operations across nearly 20 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.



Lamba joined Linde in 2006 when the company acquired BOC Group, where he served as Managing Director of Process Gas Solutions for South and Southeast Asia. He began his career with BOC India in 1989. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calcutta's St. Xavier's College and qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.



"We conducted a comprehensive search for a director who would further strengthen our board's breadth of talent and background," said Martin Loeffler, Amphenol's Chairman.



Amphenol designs, manufactures and markets electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors and interconnect systems, antennas, sensors and specialty cable. The company operates facilities in approximately 40 countries and serves markets including automotive, commercial aerospace, communications networks, defense, industrial, information technology and mobile devices.
