AllianceBernstein Holding L.P. (NYSE: AB) announced that Onur Erzan has been appointed president of the investment management firm, effective January 5, 2026.
Erzan will work alongside CEO Seth Bernstein to oversee business transformation and strategic initiatives while developing solutions for client needs. He will continue leading the company's Private Wealth Management, Global Asset Management Distribution and Global Private Alternatives businesses, roles he assumed in fall 2025. Erzan will also take responsibility for Strategy and Corporate Development functions.
"This is a pivotal moment for AB," said CEO Seth Bernstein. "Onur's appointment to President underscores his criticality to AB and Equitable Holdings, and his strong connections both within the firm and across the industry."
In his previous roles at AllianceBernstein, Erzan shaped the company's global distribution strategy and expanded the firm into new areas, including active exchange-traded funds and integrated insurance asset-management services. He implemented client-specific strategies for ultra-high-net-worth clients in the private wealth division and expanded partnerships with banking institutions and international custodians.
"I'm honored to step into the role of President and look forward to charting the firm's future alongside Seth," Erzan said.
Erzan remains a member of the Equitable Holdings Management Committee and will serve as chair of the AB Operating Committee. He joined AllianceBernstein in January 2021 after spending 20 years with McKinsey & Company, where he was a senior partner and co-leader of its Wealth & Asset Management practice.
AllianceBernstein is a subsidiary of Equitable Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EQH) and had $865 billion in assets under management as of November 30, 2025.
