Affirm expands Wayfair partnership to UK and Canada markets

February 5, 2026 4:15 PM EST

Affirm (NASDAQ: AFRM) announced the expansion of its partnership with Wayfair (NYSE: W) to include shoppers in the UK and Canada, according to a company statement.

The buy-now-pay-later service will allow approved customers in both countries to split purchases on Wayfair's platform. The expansion builds on the companies' existing partnership, which was extended to Wayfair's online and in-store checkouts across the US in October.

Customers receive real-time approval decisions and can select payment plans without late fees or hidden charges. Affirm does not charge compounding interest, with customers paying only agreed-upon amounts.

"Since first partnering with Affirm nearly a decade ago, we've seen how much our customers value having flexible, transparent payment options," said Curtis Crawford, head of fintech and loyalty at Wayfair. "Expanding Affirm to the UK and Canada means more shoppers can invest in their homes in a way that works for them, with no hidden fees or surprises."

Wayne Pommen, Chief Revenue Officer at Affirm, said the expansion delivers "the same peace of mind to even more consumers in the UK and Canada."

In Canada, Affirm offers rates from 0-31.99% APR, subject to provincial regulations and eligibility requirements. UK customers face a 22% representative APR, with credit subject to approval and minimum spend requirements.

Affirm UK Limited is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for consumer credit activities.
