Adecco Group names Valentina Ficaio as new CFO starting January 1
The Adecco Group (SIX: ADEN) announced the appointment of Valentina Ficaio as chief financial officer and executive committee member, effective January 1, 2026. She will replace Coram Williams, who is stepping down to become CFO at an automotive company in Germany.
Ficaio joined Adecco Group in 2019 as CFO Iberia before becoming regional CFO for Southern and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Northern Africa. She currently serves as group senior vice president finance, overseeing financial planning, controllership and strategy. Prior to Adecco Group, she held CFO positions in the automotive and automotive financing sectors.
Williams joined the company in 2020 and guided the organization through what CEO Denis Machuel described as "a period of significant transformation." Williams stated he decided to return to his automotive industry background and relocate closer to family in Germany.
"Valentina has deep knowledge of our business, people and customers as well as very strong financial and strategic acumen," Machuel said in the announcement. He noted she will play a role in shaping the company's next phase and ensuring long-term value creation.
Ficaio holds a business and managerial economics degree from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome. She expressed her commitment to continuing the company's transformation and working with the executive committee to secure profitable growth and create shareholder value.
The Zurich-based company operates through three global business units across 60 countries, providing talent and technology services. The announcement was made as an ad hoc disclosure pursuant to SIX Swiss Exchange listing rules.
