Aclarion Inc. (NASDAQ: ACON, ACONW) reported an 89% year-over-year increase in Nociscan scan volumes for the third quarter, marking the third consecutive quarter of record utilization across U.S., U.K., and European markets.
The healthcare technology company announced it holds $13.3 million in cash as of October 14, equivalent to $15.11 per share on a fully diluted basis, with a debt-free balance sheet. The cash position includes net proceeds from a recent $2.5 million registered direct offering.
The company's CLARITY pivotal trial is progressing on schedule, with first patients enrolled at UHealth-University of Miami Health System and the Miller School of Medicine. Seven Phase I sites are actively engaged in the trial, including Texas Back Institute, Northwestern Medicine, Scripps Health, Keck Medicine of USC, and Johns Hopkins University.
Aclarion expects early internal interim data readout from the trial in the second quarter of 2026, with full enrollment targeted by the fourth quarter of 2026. The trial aims to quantify clinical value of integrating Nociscan data into surgical planning.
The company appointed Greg Gould as Chief Financial Officer, adding public company and capital markets experience to its leadership team.
Nociscan utilizes magnetic resonance spectroscopy and artificial intelligence algorithms to help physicians identify sources of chronic low back pain by distinguishing between painful and nonpainful discs in the lumbar spine. The platform processes MRS data through proprietary signal processing techniques to extract chemical biomarkers associated with disc pain.
Chief Executive Officer Brent Ness stated the company is "executing on key milestones" including expanding adoption and advancing the CLARITY trial on schedule.
The company will present at the LD Micro Main Event on October 20 in San Diego. Information is based on a company press release.
