Stifel analyst Stephen Gengaro raised the price target on Liberty Oilfield Services (NYSE: LBRT) to $25.00 (from $23.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
He said, "LBRT's shares slid 7.1% versus the 0.5% rise in the S&P 500 following lackluster 4Q24 results and weaker-than-expected guidance primarily due to softer pricing in its core pressure pumping business. Importantly, LBRT provided a detailed overview of its Power Generation strategy, including expectations to add 400MW of incremental power generation assets by the end of 2026. We are lowering our 2025 EBITDA forecast to $723 million from $820 million, and introducing a 2026 EBITDA forecast of $985 million that includes the contribution from a portion of the incremental power generation assets. We are lifting our target price to $25 from $23 based on our 2026 EBITDA estimate."
