BMO Capital analyst Jeffery Silber lowered the price target on Gartner (NYSE: IT) to $188.00 (from $258.00) while maintaining a Market Perform rating.
The analyst commented: "IT delivered a margin-driven beat aided by a lower share count. Contract value (CV) was again challenged by federal government churn and a difficult selling environment. Management outlined a four dimensional process to revitalize CV growth though it will take "a couple of years" until to realize the full benefit. 2026 "at least" guidance was lighter than consensus, though management expects CV growth to accelerate throughout the year. We reduce our estimates and target once again."
