Truist Securities analyst Youssef Squali lowered the price target on Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) to $280.00 (from $290.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: "Higher Capex Guide for FY26 Overshadows Strong Trends Across Cloud, eCom and Ads; We remain positive on AMZN following stronger 4Q25 results vs. Street/Guidance that showed healthy broad-based demand across Online Stores, Advertising and especially AWS, with growth accelerating to 24% Y/Y. The 1Q26 guide reflects sustained top line momentum but also lower oper income on increased opex related to investments in LEO, Quick Commerce and Int'l stores. Importantly, FY26 Capex guidance came in at a surprisingly high $200B, a ~50% Y/Y increase aimed at building out AI capacity to satiate the significant demand mgmt is currently seeing. AMZN remains one of the best plays on the secular growth of eCom, Cloud, and Advertising, all at a compelling valuation."
