UBS analyst Nicholas Holowko reiterated a Neutral rating and $64.00 price target on Comerica (NYSE: CMA).
The analyst commented, "CMA printed a good quarter on PPNR, as expenses were below expectations and loan growth trended positively over the past three months. That said, the outlook implies a bigger ramp in 2H expenses than previously expected, which could weigh on efficiency gains over the back half of the year. With positioning mixed heading into the result, we think the call will drive performance for the stock today, and whether the expense picture could loom larger than the positive growth momentum."
