Stifel analyst Matthew Smith reiterated a Buy rating and $44.00 price target on Vital Farms (NASDAQ: VITL).
The analyst commented, “We traveled with Vital Farms management last week following the egg journey from farm to retail shelf and come away with a greater appreciation of Vital’s unique supply chain and the steps the company is making in 2025 to improve capacity and efficiency. 2025 is a tale of two halves with growth accelerating in the second half, benefiting from improved supply and normalized margin comparisons.”
Also, “We continue to estimate 23% revenue growth in 2025, primarily supported by egg volume growth, with only mid-teen growth required in 2026-2027 to reach the company’s >$1 billion revenue target. We view shares as undervalued at just 10x 2026 EV/EBITDA and see attractive upside for shares as growth accelerates through 2025.”
