Stifel analyst Paul Matteis reiterated a Buy rating and $56.00 price target on Rapport Therapeutics (NASDAQ: RAPP)
The analyst comments: “We remain Buy rated on RAPP following their 1Q26 report, where notably, the RAP-219 ph2 results in bipolar mania are now expected in 4Q26 (1H27 previously)--RAPP has increased target enrollment and adjusted the SAP to make this trial potentially one of the registration-enabling studies required for filing. This readout represents a major catalyst for the stock in 2026, and while the biological thesis in bipolar is perhaps more complex than in epilepsy, we think this is a logical next step for '219 as several ASMs are approved for BPM. Additionally, RAPP remains on-track to initiate their ph3s in FOS 2Q26--we remain optimistic on the POS here given the strength of the ph2a and the historically high translatability from ph2 to ph3 in epilepsy. And while there are some caveats with the ph2a (open-label, smaller, more specific population), the efficacy were so strong that there's significant cushion heading into a RCT.”
