Stephens analyst Matt Olney reiterated an Overweight rating and $30.00 price target on Home Bancshares (NYSE: HOMB)
The analyst comments "Excluding one-time items, we calculate Op. EPS of $0.50, below consensus estimates of $0.53, driven by the previously disclosed elevated LLP expense related to the recent hurricanes (-$0.05 to EPS), partially offset by lower op. expense (+$0.01) and a more favorable tax rate (+$0.01). PPNR of $147 million was above consensus estimates of $146 million. The company repurchased $27 million in shares while still building capital levels. The company will be hosting a call tomorrow at 1 pm CT and we look for commentary around the NIM given the recent Fed cuts. Our rating is Overweight."
