Jefferies Reiterates Buy Rating on Praxis Precision Medicines Inc. (PRAX)

Jefferies analyst Kambiz Yazdi reiterated a Buy rating and $450.00 price target on Praxis Precision Medicines Inc. (NASDAQ: PRAX).

The analyst comments "A breakthrough designation (BTD) to ulixacaltamide (oral calcium channel) in essential tremor ($2.5B+ oppty) is fundamentally de-risking: (1) We can infer the FDA has vetted the data package that includes two (+) Phase III studies, (2) Statistically, programs receiving BTD have a high 73% approval rate. Net-net, our PoS rises to 80-90%, up from 70% previously. We expect an NDA filing in early 2026, followed by FDA approval by YE:26 on an 8-month priority review."
