JPMorgan analyst Mark Strouse reiterated an Overweight rating and $436.00 price target on GE Vernova (NYSE: GEV).
The analyst commented, "Despite what we viewed as incrementally positive commentary from GEV last week, the stock has sold off over the last week amidst broader fears around hyperscaler capex plans and associated industrial AI demand. Although AI-related headlines may cause short term volatility in the stock, we believe the continued price up environment in gas power, an apparent elongation of customer demand for turbines, and the strong position of the company’s Electrification backlog should give investors confidence in GEV’s ability to drive substantial earnings growth over the next four years, regardless of hyperscaler capex plans."
