H.C. Wainwright Reiterates Buy Rating on Humacyte (HUMA)

H.C. Wainwright analyst Swayampakula Ramakanth reiterated a Buy rating and $3.00 price target on Humacyte (NASDAQ: HUMA).

The analyst commented: "On June 11, management plans to publish top-line interim data from the V012 Phase 3 trial of ATEV vs. AV fistula in female hemodialysis patients at the SVS Vascular Annual Meeting in Boston. The pre-specified interim analysis is being run on the first 80 of 120 enrolled patients to reach the one-year follow-up timepoint, with the protocol allowing for early stopping if clear superiority over SOC (fistula) is demonstrated. If positive, management plans to file a supplemental BLA including results from the V012 and the V007 prospective randomized clinical datasets in 2H26. If ATEV demonstrates superiority or, at the very least, similar outcomes compared to AV fistula, we believe Symvess could receive approval. Management indicated that the non-clinical sections of the file such as preclinical, manufacturing, and safety should largely carry over from the previously cleared trauma BLA, which we believe could speed up the filing of the BLA. Given Humacyte’s Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) designation, which grants the company eligibility for an accelerated review, we expect the launch of ATEV in the dialysis market in 3Q27. Reiterate Buy and $3 price target."
