H.C. Wainwright Reiterates Buy Rating on Genenta Science S.p.A. (GNTA)

H.C. Wainwright analyst Emanuela Branchetti reiterated a Buy rating and $25.00 price target on Genenta Science S.p.A. (NASDAQ: GNTA).

The analyst commented: "Genenta announced on October 2 that it has received approval from the Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco (AIFA) to initiate a Phase 1 clinical trial for Temferon in metastatic renal cell cancer (mRCC), with the trial expected to begin in 4Q24. We view this as a key milestone, as it expands Temferon’s application into a new therapeutic area, following the encouraging results seen in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). This trial will also target a late-stage mRCC patient population, for which there are currently no available treatment options. In addition to mRCC, this news highlights Temferon’s potential to address other solid tumor types, such as bladder and urogenital cancers. We look forward to tracking the progress of this trial as it unfolds. Regarding GBM, the uMGMT Glioblastoma Multiforme (TEM-GBM) program continues to make significant strides. The Phase 1 dose-ranging study, which has now been completed, demonstrated no dose-limiting toxicities across 24 patients. It also reported a median survival of 16.8 months, marking a 25% improvement in 2-year overall survival. These encouraging results have laid the foundation for a Phase 2 trial, which is slated to begin in 1H25. With Temferon demonstrating potential across multiple indications, its versatility could open the door to substantial market opportunities, particularly as it addresses areas with significant unmet medical need.
