H.C. Wainwright Reiterates Buy Rating on Day One Biopharmaceuticals (DAWN)

H.C. Wainwright analyst Andrew Maldonado reiterated a Buy rating and $36.00 price target on Day One Biopharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: DAWN).

The analyst commented: "We continue to see a favorable risk/reward setup for Day One as Ojemda (tovorafenib) enters its first half of commercial sales post-FDA approval for BRAF-altered relapsed/refractory pediatric low-grade glioma (pLGG). Our 2025 revenue estimate of $161M is grounded in accelerating real-world uptake, extended treatment durations, and a broader-than-appreciated addressable market of 2,000–3,000 R/R pLGG patients in the U.S. alone. Importantly, our model does not include potential upside from front-line use (pending FIREFLY-2 results), representing a significant tailwind for longer-term growth. Taken together, the updated ASCO 2025 growth and rash analyses substantiate key assumptions embedded in our model: (1) long treatment durations without cumulative toxicity, (2) manageable side effect profile amenable to outpatient care, and (3) increasing long-term viability in both R/R and future 1L settings. With FIREFLY-2 enrollment progressing and payer coverage already established, we continue to see Day One as a compelling under-the-radar story with outsized optionality. We reiterate our Buy and our price target of $36."
