H.C. Wainwright analyst Mitchell Kapoor reiterated a Buy rating and $8.00 price target on Carisma Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: CARM).
The analyst commented: "Fast Track designation granted for CT-0525, enabling closer FDA interactions and potential for regulatory timeline benefits. On June 25, Carisma announced that the FDA has granted Fast Track designation to CT-0525—an ex vivo gene-modified HER2-targeted CAR-Monocyte—intended to treat patients with advanced / metastatic solid tumors that overexpress HER2 and have progressed on available therapies. Fast Track (link to FDA eligibility and benefits) enables more frequent meetings and written communication from the agency (e.g., on design of the proposed trials and use of biomarkers, potential eligibility for Accelerated Approval and Priority Review, if relevant criteria are met, and rolling review—i.e., review of the Biologics License Application (BLA) submission on a section-by-section basis. We reiterate our Buy rating and 12-month price target of $8."
