H.C. Wainwright analyst Robert Burns reiterated a Buy rating and $40.00 price target on ArriVent BioPharma (NASDAQ: AVBP).
The analyst commented: "Yesterday, ArriVent management disclosed that top-line results from the Phase 3 FURVENT trial, which is evaluating firmonertinib vs. platinum-based chemo in 1L EGFR Exon20 insertion-positive NSCLC patients can be expected in early 2026. We remind investors that, in the Phase 1b FAVOUR trial, which evaluated firmonertinib in patients with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutation-positive NSCLC, firmonertinib 240mg QD achieved a 78.6% and 46.2% ORR in treatment-naïve and pretreated patients, respectively. These results compare favorably to those of most competitor agents. Notably, the G3+ rate of diarrhea and rash (known side effects from the targeting of EGFRwt) was 0% and 0%, respectively. Given these prior results, we view the Phase 3 top-line readout as relatively risk-mitigated. We reiterate our Buy rating and 12-month price target of $40."
