H.C. Wainwright Reiterates Buy Rating on Alpha Tau Medical Ltd. (DRTS)

H.C. Wainwright analyst Yi Chen reiterated a Buy rating and $9.00 price target on Alpha Tau Medical Ltd. (NASDAQ: DRTS).

The analyst commented: "Yesterday, Alpha Tau Medical announced that the first patient has been treated in the U.S. pilot study of Alpha DaRT in patients with pancreatic cancer. Known as IMPACT (Intratumoral Pancreatic Alpha Combination Trial, NCT06698458), the study aims to evaluate the safety, feasibility, and efficacy of Alpha DaRT in combination with chemotherapy for patients with newly diagnosed unresectable locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. According to the protocol, the study is slated to enroll up to 30 patients, including 15 patients with inoperable locally advanced disease and 15 patients with metastatic disease, across multiple centers in the U.S., Canada and Israel. Eligible patients must have histologically confirmed pancreatic adenocarcinoma and must be either chemotherapy-naïve or within the first four cycles of the initial chemotherapy regimen. Patients who have undergone prior surgery or received radiation are excluded. Patients would continue receiving their standard-of-care chemotherapy throughout the study (mFOLFIRINOX), and Alpha DaRT sources would be implanted into the primary tumor using ultrasound-guided endoscopy. Follow-up would continue up to six months after enrollment. The primary objectives are to assess the feasibility of Alpha DaRT source implantation and to evaluate its safety and tolerability.
