Canaccord Genuity Remains Bullish on ATARA Biotherapeutics (ATRA)

Canaccord Genuity reiterated a Buy rating and $70.00 price target on Atara Biotherapeutics (NASDAQ: ATRA) following a comparative T-cell company analysis. ATRA is currently valued similar to early stage cellular therapy companies, many of which are in Phase 1 or even pre-clinical even as ATA129 is now in two Phase 3 trials.

Analyst John Newman compared the successful development for multiple key assets such as ATA129 and ATA188 in the past several quarters to change in Enterprise Value (EV), and still believes that ATRA is not attracting appropriate market attention, especially when compared to BLUE, KITE, and JUNO.
