BTIG analyst Mark Massaro reiterated a Neutral rating on Insight Molecular Diagnostics Inc. (NASDAQ: IMDX).
The analyst commented: "Insight Molecular Diagnostics last week became the first company (that we are aware of) to submit to the FDA a kitted transplant test. A highlight from its Q4 earnings call is that IMDX is now on the clock with the FDA, and they're confident to obtain FDA approval later this year (though we think it will be in 2H'26, vs its prior goal of mid-2026). We think a decentralized and regulated (FDA-cleared and CE-marked) transplant kitted product should resonate well, particularly OUS, enable labs to run their tests locally, obtain faster test turnaround times, and participate in the profitability of in-house testing. That said, the transplant market is not without competition from commercially strong companies, and we think it will take time for IMDX to advance its work, fortify its global commercial strategy, and impact numbers, and as a result, we reiterate our Neutral rating on shares of IMDX."
