Nomura Securities analyst Stuart Jeffrey commented on Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) following WWDC, saying while the event was 'solid' it offered few headlines to attract consumer attention and move the needel.
"At WWDC, Apple’s announcements were largely incremental in nature, in our view, with changes heavily focused on the look and feel of Mac OS X and on developer tools," Jeffrey notes. "No new products were announced nor were any new services or apps that, at first glance, might lead to a significant change in outlook for Apple’s sales or margins. Apple did imply, however, that we would again see new iOS product launches in the Fall (presumably September again)."
The firm reiterated a Neutral rating and price target of $621.00
