Jefferies analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu raised the price target on American Airlines (NASDAQ: AAL) to $15.00 (from $13.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "We met with VP Commercial Planning & Performance Nick Andersen, IR MD Abriell Jackson and Sr Principal IR Alana Magli on our Dallas Bus Tour. Key takes: 1) Demand solid w/ fares +20% y-o-y & only modest LF churn, runway on inflation-adj fare math; 2) CX changes to drive corporate share parity in time; 3) no change to fleet strategy or maint timing; and 4) long-haul capable fleet from 139 in '25 up to ~230 possible in '30 plus outstanding RFP for WBs."
