Airline stocks are seeing upside today on the back of a Goldman Sachs sector upgrade and crude oil that is currently trading around $75, down about $3 on the day. With the Dow and Nasdaq at session lows, the airline sector remains to be one of the only groups trading in positive territory today.
Goldman lifted its rating on the sector from Cautious to Neutral. Although the majority of airline stocks gapped lower this morning, many surged at the open and are now holding onto modest gains.
