Shares of A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd. (Nasdaq: APWR) are having a rough day after weaker-than-expected results. The downside move was exacerbated after an analyst at Roth Capital suspended coverage on the stock citing a lack of transparency.
According to Notable Calls, the Roth Capital analyst said, "We believe the company's lack of transparency has created inherent limitations to our ability to gain adequate insight into the underlying fundamentals to confidently model and value the business. We believe this transparency has deteriorated further, impacting our ability to publish an investment recommendation."
