Apple (AAPL) CEO Cook Succumbs to Social Media Pressure; Removes 'Famed' Super Bowl Photo from Twitter

Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) shares are a little weaker amid CEO Tim Cook doing some social media "clean up."
According to Mashable, the CEO deleted a photo he posted to Twitter (NYSE: TWTR), which was an on-the-field shot following Super Bowl 50. The picture in question was a little blurry and, subsequently, Twitter users tore into it. Many might have expected a little more from the head of a company that touts camera technology with virtually every new mobile device release.
Investors might also be wondering about Cook's capacity for criticism. While the Super Bowl photo may not have been the greatest, did Cook remove it due to personal distress over mass duress? Did Internet bullying unnerve the head of the world's most valuable company?
Cook deleting the photo might not really mean much, but it is interesting to think about why the photo was deleted. No explanation has been given so far.
At last check, @tim_cook (Cook's Twitter handle) had around 2 million followers on the site.
Shares of Apple are up 0.4 percent, but down from earlier highs. The photo in question is below:
